When your company hosts clients at Fenway Park, brings a board to a dinner in the Seaport, or runs a hospitality suite at Gillette Stadium, the transportation is part of the impression you are making. ALVE Limousine provides chauffeured vehicles for corporate events and client entertainment across Greater Boston — booked by the hour, held on site, and billed to your company rather than to individual guests.
Why event transportation is booked by the hour, not by the trip
Point-to-point booking works when someone needs to get from A to B once. Client entertainment does not work that way. A group arrives, the evening runs long, someone leaves early, plans change at the table. If each of those movements is a separate booking, you are managing a dispatch problem in the middle of hosting.
Hourly as-directed service solves this. The chauffeur and vehicle are yours for the block of time you reserve. They stage nearby, stay reachable, and respond to the evening as it actually unfolds. Your guests never wait for a car to be summoned, and you never have to explain a surge price to a client.
What "as directed" means in practice
- The vehicle stays with you. Between movements the chauffeur waits in a staging area near the venue, not across the city.
- The itinerary can change. Add a stop, extend the evening, or send one guest to their hotel early — all within the same reservation.
- One point of contact. Your assistant or event lead has the chauffeur's direct number for the duration.
- Discretion is assumed. Conversations in the vehicle stay in the vehicle. For many of our corporate clients this is the reason they stopped using rideshare for client travel.
Venues we work regularly
Each of these has its own access rules, drop-off geometry, and traffic pattern on event days. Knowing them is the difference between a client stepping out at the entrance and a client walking four blocks.
| Venue | What matters for transportation |
|---|---|
| Fenway Park | Lansdowne and Ipswich Street access closes on game days. Staging and pickup points shift depending on the event; post-game egress from the Kenmore area is the constraint, not the arrival. |
| Gillette Stadium | Foxborough is roughly an hour out of downtown Boston without traffic, considerably more on event days. Hospitality and premium lots have separate credentialed entrances that must be arranged in advance. |
| TD Garden | Attached to North Station, so the surrounding streets carry both event and commuter traffic. Causeway Street staging requires timing; the Nashua Street side is often the better hand-off point. |
| Encore Boston Harbor | Everett location with a dedicated porte-cochere. Common as a second stop after a downtown dinner, and a frequent overnight destination for visiting client groups. |
We also cover the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, the Hynes Convention Center, MGM Music Hall, Harvard and MIT campus venues, and the hotel ballrooms used for most corporate functions in the city. If your event is somewhere not listed, the logistics question is the same and we will walk through it with you.
Rates and how corporate billing works
Event and entertainment work is quoted hourly. There is no separate "event surcharge" and no dynamic pricing — the rate you are quoted is the rate you are billed.
| Vehicle | Hourly rate | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Executive sedan | $85 per hour | One to three guests, executive travel, single-couple hosting |
| Luxury SUV | $110 per hour | Four to six guests, luggage, group hosting |
A 15% administrative fee is added to the hourly total. This covers dispatch, chauffeur gratuity, and vehicle preparation — it is not a fuel surcharge that changes week to week. Minimum reservation is two hours per vehicle. Tolls and event parking, where the venue charges them, are passed through at cost.
For accounts payable
- Monthly consolidated invoicing. One invoice covering all movements in the period, itemized by date, passenger, and cost center if you need it that way.
- Net-30 terms on established corporate accounts.
- Certificate of insurance issued on request, naming your entity as required by your vendor onboarding.
- No per-ride card entry. Guests are never asked to pay or tip. The evening ends when they step out of the car.
Multiple vehicles and larger groups
Groups beyond a single vehicle are coordinated as one reservation with a single lead contact. ALVE operates its own fleet and supplements it through a vetted affiliate network for larger movements — the same standard of vehicle and chauffeur applies, and you still receive one invoice and one point of contact.
For a group of any size, the details that actually determine whether it goes smoothly are: how many guests per vehicle, whether everyone arrives together or trickles in, whether the venue has a credentialed entrance, and what the departure looks like. We ask these questions when you book because they are the ones that matter.
Where we operate
Our work originates from or arrives into Greater Boston. Within that frame we cover all of New England and the surrounding states — New York and New Jersey included — for client travel that extends beyond the city. Common patterns include collecting a client group from LaGuardia or JFK for a Boston event, running a multi-day itinerary between Boston and a regional site, or handling private aviation arrivals at Hanscom Field.

Booking
Most corporate event work is arranged by phone or email, because the details matter and a form does not capture them. Call +1 (617) 440-2174 or send the date, venue, guest count, and rough timing and we will come back with a plan and a quote.
For recurring hospitality programs — a season of client entertainment, a standing box, a quarterly board meeting — we set up a corporate account so your assistant can book without re-establishing terms each time.
Common questions
How far in advance should we book a vehicle for an event?
For a single vehicle on a normal evening, a few days is comfortable. For major event dates at Gillette Stadium or Fenway Park, or for multiple vehicles, book as early as the event is confirmed — those dates are constrained across the entire Boston market, not just with us.
What happens if the evening runs longer than we reserved?
The chauffeur stays. Additional time is billed in the same hourly increment at the same rate. There is no penalty rate for running over and no scramble to rebook.
Can guests be picked up from different locations?
Yes. Multiple pickups within a reservation are normal for client entertainment. Give us the addresses and the order and we will build the timing around the venue's arrival window.
Do you provide a certificate of insurance?
Yes, on request, naming your entity as your vendor requirements specify. Most corporate clients need this once during onboarding rather than per event.
Are gratuities extra?
No. The 15% administrative fee covers chauffeur gratuity. Your guests are never asked for anything.
Can you handle transportation for an event outside Boston?
Yes, provided the itinerary starts or ends in Greater Boston. We regularly run client itineraries into Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Connecticut, and New York.
